ADVANCING MATHEMATICS EDUCATION: BRAIN-BASED LEARNING AND ITS IMPACT ON STUDENT OUTCOMES IN AKWA IBOM STATE, NIGERIA

It equips learners with cognitive, analytical, and logical skills essential for addressing real-life challenges in fields ranging from STEM to the humanities and social sciences. Despite its abstract nature, mathematics remains a dynamic social construct that evolves to meet the needs of modern society. Quality mathematics education fosters critical and creative thinking, encourages informed participation in public policy, promotes sustainable behaviors, and contributes to socio-economic development. This study underscores the significance of mathematics as a discipline that not only develops intellectual competence but also prepares students to navigate and solve complex societal problems effectively.
