Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Keith Publications. By registering, submitting manuscripts, reviewing, or accessing content, you accept these terms in full.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.

Account Registration

Account Requirements

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update account information
• Keep login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use
• One account per individual (institutional accounts available separately)

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Provision of false information
• Abusive behavior towards staff or users
• Breach of publication ethics
• Inactivity for more than 3 years

Author Responsibilities and Warranties

By submitting a manuscript, you warrant that:

1. The work is original and your own
2. It has not been previously published (except as an abstract or thesis)
3. It is not under consideration elsewhere
4. You have obtained necessary permissions for reproduced material
5. All authors meet authorship criteria and have approved submission
6. You have disclosed all conflicts of interest
7. Human/animal studies received appropriate ethics approval
8. Clinical trials are registered as required
9. Data are available according to data policy

Submission and Review Process

Submission

• Submission fee may apply (see specific journal pages)
• Manuscripts must follow author guidelines
• We aim to provide initial decision within 4–6 weeks
• Submission does not guarantee acceptance

Peer Review

• All submissions undergo peer review
• Reviewers must maintain confidentiality
• Reviewers must declare conflicts of interest
• We follow COPE guidelines for ethical review

Editorial Decisions

Editorial decisions are final. We do not guarantee acceptance or a specific timeline.

Intellectual Property Rights

Author Rights

Authors retain copyright and grant the Journal:

• First publication rights
• Right to publish, distribute, and archive the article
• Right to grant permissions for third-party use
• Right to migrate to new formats/technologies

License to Publish

Accepted articles are published under a Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0 unless stated otherwise).

Journal Content

All journal content (except articles) is © Keith Publications. You may not:

• Reproduce journal design, layout, or branding
• Systematically download content
• Use content for commercial purposes without permission

User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent, plagiarized, or fabricated content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse staff or users
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Manipulate the peer review process
• Use automated systems to access services (except APIs)
• Attempt to compromise system security
• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in citation manipulation or coercion

Fees and Payments

Applicable Fees

• Article Processing Charges (APCs): Apply upon acceptance for open access
• Submission Fees: None at Keith Publications
• Page Charges: May apply for excessive length

Payment Terms

• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Payment must be made in USD
• Waivers available for authors from low-income countries
• Invoices available upon request

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Content Disclaimer

• We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability
• Views expressed are authors' own, not the Journal's
• We are not liable for errors or omissions
• We do not provide medical or legal advice

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keith Publications shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed fees paid to us in the last 12 months.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Washington, DC, USA.

Dispute Resolution

1. Informal negotiation (30 days)
2. Mediation through a recognized mediation service
3. Legal proceedings in courts of competent jurisdiction

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date and notified to registered users via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
