HARNESSING THE 'THREE CREATIONS': INNOVATING TOURISM MANAGEMENT EDUCATION THROUGH IDEOLOGICAL INTEGRATION

In the era of new liberal arts, higher education institutions are increasingly tasked with cultivating students’ capacities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity. For applied disciplines such as tourism management, these demands are especially pressing due to the evolving expectations of the industry and the dynamic nature of tourism as a socio-economic activity. This paper explores how the synergistic integration of the "Three Creation" framework—innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity—combined with a solid grounding in professional ideology, can effectively transform tourism management education. The study examines the theoretical underpinnings and practical implications of aligning tourism education with the objectives of the new liberal arts, emphasizing interdisciplinary learning, problem-solving, and value-driven development. It further discusses the necessity of educational reform to meet the growing societal and industry needs, and highlights strategic pathways for embedding "Three Creation" values into curriculum design, teaching methodology, and student assessment. The paper concludes that fostering a culture of innovation and ideological commitment is critical to producing tourism professionals who are both industry-ready and socially responsible
