The purpose of this research work is to highlight the contribution that motor activity can provide to people with disabilities in the school context, which, due to erroneous points of view still present today, could negatively influence the development of aspects social, relational and educational of the person. The paper aims to highlight the educational importance of motor activity for people with disabilities in the educational context of the school, and to demonstrate that it can and must be understood as an opportunity to promote learning and the complete development of the person
