This study delves into the intricate web of social networks and their impact on entrepreneurial success, with a particular focus on gender disparities. Social networks have emerged as indispensable channels for accessing crucial resources, and their structural characteristics are instrumental in shaping entrepreneurial outcomes. As entrepreneurship increasingly becomes a focal point for economic growth and job creation, understanding the role of social networks is paramount. This research, drawing on social network analysis (SNA), investigates how entrepreneurs, particularly female entrepreneurs, utilize their social relations to leverage social capital for resource acquisition. Given the economic significance of women-owned businesses, exploring the gender dimension in network-driven entrepreneurship is of utmost importance. The study underscores the dynamic nature of social networks, which serve as vital micro-environments for nascent entrepreneurs, and analyzes their influence at different phases of the entrepreneurial journey. Employing data from the Panel Study of Entrepreneurial Dynamics II (PSED II), this research offers valuable insights into the intricate interplay between social networks, entrepreneurship, and gender disparities.
