The Applied Psychology, Sociology, and Social Policy Journal publishes research that applies the behavioural and social sciences to real human problems. Our scope brings together applied psychology, sociology, and social policy, with a strong interest in mental health, well-being, and the social conditions that shape them.

We welcome empirical and applied studies on behaviour and mental health, family and community life, social inequality and welfare, and the design and evaluation of interventions and services. Both quantitative research and qualitative, interpretive, and mixed-methods approaches fall within scope, and we particularly value work that connects psychological and sociological insight to social-policy practice.

Manuscripts are assessed for methodological rigour, theoretical grounding, and practical relevance to practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. Through open access the journal aims to translate behavioural and social-science evidence into better support for individuals, families, and communities, advancing policies and interventions that promote mental health, social inclusion, and collective well-being.

Submissions may be empirical, applied, or theoretical, including intervention and evaluation studies that bridge psychology, sociology, and social policy. We value rigorous method and clear relevance to people's lives. Published open access, the journal serves practitioners, researchers, and policymakers, translating behavioural and social-science evidence into better support for individuals, families, and communities and into policies that promote mental health, inclusion, and collective well-being.
