Aims & Scope
Research on marketing in the digital age — media, content, analytics, and the connected consumer.
The Journal of Marketing and Digital Media examines how marketing is being reshaped by digital platforms, data, and connected consumers. Our scope covers digital marketing strategy, social media and content marketing, online advertising, and the analytics that measure and optimise them.
We welcome research on consumer behaviour in digital environments, influencer and content marketing, e-commerce and omnichannel experiences, marketing technology, and the ethical and privacy questions that accompany data-driven practice. Empirical studies using experiments, surveys, or large-scale behavioural data, as well as conceptual and methodological contributions, all fall within our interests.
Manuscripts are assessed for theoretical contribution, methodological rigour, and relevance to the fast-moving practice of digital marketing. By publishing open access, the journal aims to keep researchers, marketers, and analysts abreast of how media, technology, and consumer behaviour interact, offering timely evidence to guide strategy in an increasingly digital and data-intensive marketplace.
We welcome experiments, surveys, analyses of large behavioural datasets, and conceptual and methodological contributions on digital marketing. Studies that address measurement, effectiveness, and the ethical use of consumer data are especially valued. Published open access, the journal serves marketing researchers, digital practitioners, and analysts, offering timely evidence on how media, technology, and consumer behaviour interact in a fast-moving and increasingly data-driven marketplace.
