The rapid growth of the cruise industry in recent decades has transformed cruise terminals into vital hubs, handling millions of passengers annually. As these terminals evolve into mixed-use developments, integrating retail, dining, and transportation services, the complexities of traffic control and safety management have increased. Effective traffic management in cruise terminals is crucial not only for operational efficiency but also for ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Congestion and delays, particularly during peak times, can lead to bottlenecks, frustration, and safety risks. To mitigate these issues, the design of terminals must prioritize smooth traffic flow, integrating advanced traffic management systems, real-time monitoring technologies, and adaptive signage to manage passenger movements efficiently. Safety concerns, including clear pedestrian pathways, crowd management, and responsive emergency plans, must also be incorporated into terminal design. This study highlights the importance of comprehensive traffic control strategies that enhance both the functionality and safety of cruise terminals, ensuring a positive experience for passengers and operational success
