Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant global health concern, particularly for individuals living with HIV. In 2016, TB was listed among the top ten causes of death for people living with HIV (PLHIV), with a substantial number of deaths attributed to this co-infection. The prevalence of TB, exacerbated by high HIV prevalence, has led to a resurgence of TB cases in various regions. However, the uptake of Isoniazid Preventive Therapy (IPT) as a preventive measure against TB has been notably low, particularly in areas with a high TB burden. Despite efforts to increase IPT adoption, various challenges persist, including medication costs, resource availability for patient management, and supply chain logistics. Addressing these challenges is crucial to improving the delivery of care and reducing the burden on both patients and healthcare workers. Ongoing monitoring remains a pivotal strategy in addressing the global TB-HIV co-infection crisis
