Abstract

<p>Acute pancreatitis (AP) can manifest as a severe, life-threatening condition, and early identification of patients at risk of progression to severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) is crucial. This study explores the potential of blood uric acid (UA) levels as a marker for assessing disease severity and predicting prognosis in SAP patients. The research aims to provide a practical and efficient method for identifying high-risk patients and guiding timely interventions.</p>
