Abstract

Their role in maintaining hygiene and safety is critical. The study, although limited to MNMA, offers insights relevant to similar institutions and underscores the need for reforms to ensure fair wages, training, and improved infrastructure. Recognising cleaners' contributions can promote respect and inclusivity in higher education. Cleaners play a pivotal role in maintaining safe and conducive learning environments within higher education institutions
